Kylan's penguin creation

My 8 year old son wanted to make a special card for his aunt for her birthday.  They have a special joke about penguins so he wanted to stitch her a penguin card.  This penguin is completely sewn by my son Kylan - I am a very proud mom!  He picked the paper for the card and we were inspired by this week's Freshly Made Sketches for the card design.

As the lucky recipient of this card, I was absolutely thrilled when Kylan surprised me with it on the weekend! He is a very important part of my life and the card will always remind me our special bond. Penguin!!!
