Tea Time

I had fun making this hand stitched whimsical tea card with the wisp of steam. My friend was looking for a tea card to give as a gift and I customized it with the initials of the person who will be receiving the card.  I hope they like it!

The countdown is on to the holidays...The house is decorated and the tree will go up this weekend.  I love this time of year!

Happiness is...

I have had a couple of requests this past month for cards with the dopamine molecule - happiness!  One is for a chemistry teacher and one is from a doctor to her doctor husband for their anniversary.  It's fun customizing cards!

I'm Celebrating Today

I made this grouping of sunflowers for a woman who wanted to put it on her mirror as a reminder to celebrate every day.  I hope she likes it and that she finds it inspiring.

Christmas Bells

I know today is Halloween and I should be spooky, but instead I have a Christmas card to post.  I stitched the bells with gold thread because  I love adding a bit of sparkle for Christmas.  I used 3 little beads for the holly and some added dimension.

The leaves are starting to turn and the mornings greet us with crisp autumn air.  Christmas starts coming to my mind so I thought I would post a new Christmas card.  This one has a dedicated space for a gift card when you open it up.

I can't believe it is already the end of the school year and summer is a week away!  It also means it is the time for teacher gifts. My son had a great teacher this year and her favourite colour is purple.  I wanted to sew her a fun thank you card.  Here it is...

The arrival of a new baby brings great anticipation.  It's always good to have a baby card on hand for someone welcoming a new life into the world.

Christmas bookmark

Happy New Year!  This week's challenge in the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge was to feature a snowflake on the card.   I hope by doing several of these challenges this year that I can keep the feeling of Christmas alive all year long...

I love making bookmark cards.  I would love to get a card that I can keep using by removing the bookmark, reattaching the ribbon, and marking my place in a good book.
